The decision to let foreign travellers enter belongs to each country or region. All countries and regions demand special requirements to the people travelling on their territory.
The traveller has the responsibility to verify the following information at the ambassy or consulate.
CZECH REPUBLIC :
Canadians who go to the Czech republic must be in possession of a canadian passport valid more than 3 months after their date of return in their country.
To travel to Czech Republic, you have to subscribe to a travel-insurance covering the medical fees for at least 30 000 euros. Travellers must also provide documents proving they have made a booking in a hotel and that they have enough money to assume their expenses during their stay in Czech Republic.
HUNGARY :
A valid
canadian passport is compulsory for Canadians travelling to Hungary. It must be valid at least 6 months after their departure from the country
AUSTRIA :
Canadians travelling to Austria must be in possession of a valid Canadian passport up to their departure from Austria.
POLAND :
Canadians travelling to Poland must be in possession of a Canadian passport. It must be valid at least 6 months after their departure from the country. The traveller must have enough money for his stay.
SLOVAKIA :
Canadians travelling to Slovakia must be in possession od a Canadian passport. It must be valid at least 3 months after their departure from the country.
